What Causes Vcruntime140.dll Not Found Error?
Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files contain the code that programs need to run correctly. If they are damaged or lost, they can cause various problems. Applications developed in Visual Studio 2015-2019 require the runtime directory to access these codes.
Receiving an error message means that the files in the directory were accidentally deleted, corrupted, or not working. Malware and viruses are common causes of this, but Windows Update can also introduce bugs that cause DLL files to fail.
